Liquid Silicone Rubbers for LIMS

Liquid Injection Molding System, or ‘LIMS’, describes a molding system in which liquid silicone rubber is used in high-precision injection molding machines. All steps are automated, from mixing to molding. This system saves labour and time, and makes it easy to produce high-quality molded items.

    Addition-cure liquid silicone is used, so cure speed is fast and molding time can be reduced.

  • Automation of the Molding Process

    Suitable for flashless, runnerless molding. And because molded items release easily from the mold after curing, the molding process can be automated.

  • Increased Productivity

    The materials are liquids, so molding can be done at low injection pressures. The system is also suitable for molding of high-precision components.

  • Environmentally Friendly

    There are no byproducts generated during curing. With flashless and runnerless molding, there is no need to process waste material, meaning a more environmentally friendly manufacturing process.
